• The agreement for the machine supply and construction of 1500 ton per day clinker production plant was signed between Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd
and Shwe Taung Cement Co., Ltd. in April 2011.
• Ground breaking ceremony was held I August, 2011; and the foundation and construction work for the infrastructure and was commenced.
• The contract between Ministry of Mining and Shwe Taung Cement Co., Ltd for the heavy mineral production was signed in December 2011.
